Hello! My name is Robert Stirbu and I'd like to tell you all a little about myself and my journey.
I am a full-time photographer based in Vancouver, BC, dedicated to capturing the pivotal moments that define people's lives. A Journey Through My Lens.
From a young age, I had a natural affinity for photography. Childhood memories are filled with moments of playing with cameras, experimenting with different angles, and capturing the unique essence of people and places. This early passion set the stage for what would eventually become a lifelong dedication to the art of photography.
Growing up, I found immense joy in the simple act of snapping pictures, always eager to see the world through a new perspective. At this pivotal age, I experienced the profound loss of several loved ones. The heartache was compounded by the realization that there were few, if any, photographs or documented memories of those cherished individuals. The absence of visual mementos left a void, emphasizing the importance of capturing life's precious moments. This loss ignited a deeper purpose in myself, propelling them to ensure that no one else would have to endure the same emptiness.
